Cleantech Open Spain held its second edition in 2011. At the award ceremony, which took place in Bilbao on October 4, each one of the five finalist companies had the opportunity of presenting their projects to a panel of cleantech experts and investors.

Online software for reduced energy consumption through continuous monitoring, analysis, alarms, reports and awareness.


System for turning river, tide or high altitude wind currents into energy.



Low-consumption wireless devices that kick in automatically when electric devices in homes and offices are not being used.


Recovery of phosphorous and other nutrients from waste streams in order to produce high-potency, slow-release fertilizers.



Winner startup of Cleantech Open Spain 2011

Powertrack. The company has already developed and patented (in Europe and the U.S.) its new infinitely continuous and reversible energy transmission technology (called CPV), applicable to numerous industrial sectors, providing important economic and energy savings compared to current systems.


Powertrack was awarded with a trip to California to attend the Cleantech Open global final in San Francisco on October 15 and 16, 2011. There it had the opportunity of presenting its idea in front of an audience made up of over 2,500 investors, academics, big businesses and media.
